Training Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Training Coordinator to develop, schedule, and deliver training activities at Capcoal Mine, ensuring compliance with corporate and statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Validate training and assessment compliance for all coal mine workers.
• Maintain site induction compliance and deliver inductions to employees and contractors.
• Coach and mentor staff to develop relevant skills and ensure competency under the Capcoal Mine Training and Competence Scheme.
• Enforce training scheme requirements and conduct performance reviews for continuous improvement.
• Manage Learning Management System data to ensure consistent site compliance.
• Engage with stakeholders to support the business plan and promote safety leadership.

Required profile

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116/22 or equivalent) or higher.
• Operational experience in coal mining preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle high‑volume work during major shutdowns.
• Problem‑solving mindset and adaptability to changing situations.
