Trainer & Assessor – Early Childhood Education

About the role

The Australian Institute of Early Childhood Studies (AIECS) is seeking a self‑motivated Trainer and Assessor to join its Registered Training Organisation. The position is primarily home‑based, with regular travel to childcare services across North Brisbane and a monthly visit to the RTO office in Shailer Park.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with students and prospective enrolments.
• Facilitate student progression through regular contact and timely assistance.
• Mark and process assessment submissions in line with RTO policies.
• Support the implementation of training package updates across the RTO’s offerings.
• Deliver onsite training at childcare services throughout the North Brisbane region.
• Attend the RTO office in Shailer Park on a monthly basis.

Required profile

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) – candidates currently working towards this qualification are welcome to apply.
• Self‑driven attitude with the ability to manage a flexible, part‑time schedule.
