Trainee - Supply Chain Management

About the role

Bosch Rexroth is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Trainee in Supply Chain Management to join its team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role offers hands-on experience across purchasing, procurement, logistics and inventory management, supporting day-to-day supply chain operations across the Oceania region and working closely with suppliers, warehouses and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Purchasing and procurement: assist with purchase requisitions, purchase orders and supplier follow-ups.
• Supplier and sourcing support: help with supplier enquiries, obtaining and comparing quotations and maintaining supplier documentation.
• Order and delivery coordination: monitor purchase orders, track delivery dates and follow up on outstanding orders.
• Logistics and shipment coordination: support inbound and outbound shipments, transport arrangements and delivery tracking with freight forwarders.
• Inventory management: assist with stock monitoring, stocktakes and keeping accurate inventory records.
• Reporting and administration: maintain purchasing and logistics records, prepare reports and track operational performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams, warehouses, suppliers and logistics partners.

Required profile

• Genuine interest in a career in supply chain management, purchasing, procurement or logistics.
• Currently studying or recently completed a qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Previous experience in administration, purchasing, logistics or a similar environment is beneficial but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, good organisation and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Required skills

• Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
