Trainee Gaming Supervisor - Mount Isa

About the role

The Isa Hotel and Red Earth Hotel in Mount Isa are looking for motivated hospitality professionals to join their Trainee Supervisors Program. You will work as a Trainee Supervisor across Bar, Restaurant, Bottleshop or Gaming, developing leadership and operational skills under the guidance of the General Manager, with a clear pathway into a full-time Supervisor role.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise venue operations (bar, restaurant, retail or gaming) in a fast-paced environment
• Motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer experiences
• Work with management on promotions, entertainment and functions that drive sales
• Manage cash handling and POS procedures, including accurate till reconciliation
• Handle customer feedback and inquiries professionally

Required profile

• Experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment (bar, restaurant, bottleshop, gaming room)
• Previous experience leading, coaching or supporting hospitality teams on shift is desirable
• Genuine motivation to build a long-term career in hospitality with a pathway into management
• Strong customer service focus and ability to train staff
• Reliable, eager to learn and a team player
• Current QLD RSA and RSG (or ability to obtain them)
