Trainee Customer Field Technician I - Horsham

About the role

nbn is recruiting a Trainee Customer Field Technician I for its Horsham field service team. The role is a permanent, full-time traineeship aimed at attracting more women and First Nations people, with the goal of increasing cultural equality and diversity across operations teams. You will work in the field helping to connect customers to the internet.

Key responsibilities

• Work in the field helping to connect customers to the internet
• Learn on the job alongside experienced experts, performing inspections, maintenance, fault diagnosis and resolution, and providing service to customers
• Work towards a Cert III in Telecommunications Technology over the 12-month traineeship, paid for by nbn

Required profile

• Full working rights in Australia
• An inquisitive mind, eagerness to learn and a positive attitude
• A driver's licence
• A passion for customer service and an appetite for working independently and at pace
• The role is open only to women and to First Nations people
