Customer Field Technician I – Warburton

About the role

nbn is recruiting a Customer Field Technician in Warburton, Victoria. This is a permanent, full-time position where you work independently to complete a range of tasks across different nbn technologies, helping connect homes and communities. You will install, repair and maintain equipment and support customers in their homes or businesses. Working hours are between 7am and 7pm, with flexibility depending on business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Install copper or fibre cabling and set up customer equipment
• Identify and fix faults
• Support customers in their homes or businesses
• Follow safe work practices and nbn's safety procedures at all times

Required profile

• No previous telecommunications experience needed; full training is provided
• Background in a trade, trade assistant or hands-on technical job is highly valued, including apprentices
• Experience in plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, labouring, construction, mechanical work or manufacturing is highly valued
• Enjoys hands-on problem-solving and communicating with customers
• Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload
• Current, clean driver's licence
• Full working rights in Australia
