Tours Manager

About the role

The Tours Manager will lead the Touring Department at Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre, overseeing daily operations, product development, sales growth and guest satisfaction while delivering authentic Indigenous cultural experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily touring activities with Tours Team Leaders.
• Develop new cultural touring products and experiences.
• Lead the Cultural Reference Group and manage media/familiarisation requests with the Sales Relations Officer.

Required profile

• Previous leadership experience in tourism, hospitality, visitor attractions or cultural experiences.
• Passion for Indigenous tourism and cultural storytelling.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Certificate IV in Tourism (Tour Guiding) or similar qualification.
• Senior First Aid Certificate (or ability to obtain), current Blue Card, and knowledge of the local region and Indigenous culture.
