Test Lead and Test Analyst - Data, Analytics and Integration

About the role

A Federal Government Agency is looking for a Test Lead and a Test Analyst for 6-month contracts, based in Melbourne VIC or Parramatta NSW. The agency needs experienced testing professionals to support the delivery of complex data, analytics and integration solutions. A baseline security clearance is required.

Key responsibilities

• Test Lead: lead functional testing across multiple delivery streams and drive testing across data pipelines, system interfaces and analytics platforms
• Test Lead: develop and execute test plans, manage testing risks, defects, dependencies and quality reporting, and coach and guide Test Analysts
• Test Lead: support planning, governance, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement
• Test Analyst: design, execute and coordinate functional and end-to-end testing, including end-user testing
• Test Analyst: validate complex data, reporting and analytics solutions and identify, analyse and manage defects
• Test Analyst: collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, data engineers and solution teams, and contribute to test planning, traceability and quality reporting

Required profile

• Test Lead: experience leading testing in data, analytics or integration environments; experience developing test plans and mentoring Test Analysts
• Test Analyst: experience delivering functional and end-to-end testing in complex technology environments
• Both roles: strong defect management, risk assessment and stakeholder engagement skills
• Baseline security clearance required

Required skills

• Test Lead: knowledge of databases, data warehousing, ETL processes and system integrations
• Test Analyst: understanding of data-centric solutions, analytics outputs and system integrations; experience in Agile delivery environments
• Ability to create effective test scenarios and test cases from requirements

What we offer

• Hourly rates of $110-$145 plus superannuation, depending on role, skills and experience
