Senior Resolve Analyst & Developer

About the role

The Department of Justice and Community Safety is recruiting a Senior Resolve Analyst and Developer for a fixed-term, full-time position in Melbourne (CBD and inner metro suburbs). The role turns business needs into practical technology solutions, improves systems and reporting and helps staff resolve issues using the Resolve platform.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business needs into clear technical specifications for system changes, projects and reports
• Analyse requirements, design systems and resolve incidents affecting staff
• Develop and maintain Resolve applications, including SQL Server code and reports
• Provide technical advice on system settings, technical environments and infrastructure
• Test new features, check data quality and identify practical improvements to systems and reports

Required profile

• A relevant ICT qualification is desirable
• Microsoft certifications such as MTA, MCSA or MCSE are desirable
• An ITIL Foundation qualification is also desirable
• Experience developing and supporting Resolve applications and handling service requests in a government department
• Problem-solving skills, clear communication and the ability to adapt to change

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of the Resolve Software Group configuration platform
• SQL Server development, including SQL and SSRS
• Coding in a Microsoft Windows environment
