Test Engineer (TSPV) – Expression of Interest

About the role

Leidos Australia is seeking experienced Test Engineers to support a Federal Government program across multiple mission systems in complex, multi‑domain security environments. The role involves translating customer requirements into effective test solutions while balancing technical, schedule and cost constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Synthesize customer requirements into test solutions, balancing technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Review and evaluate testability of requirements and develop test plans, cases, and procedures for various testing stages.
• Analyze test results, manage defects, and prepare detailed test reports.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to solve problems and ensure successful outcomes.

Required profile

• Qualification in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in verification and validation, systems testing, or quality assurance roles.
• Experience developing and maintaining test artefacts aligned to requirements and standards.
• Australian citizenship and a TSPV/TSPA security clearance.

Required skills

• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools such as ALM, Jira, and Confluence.
• Understanding of systems engineering principles and structured V&V practices.
• Experience testing enterprise ICT environments, including SOE, infrastructure, applications and test automation.
