Territory Manager – Western Australia

About the role

Bega is looking for a Territory Manager to join its Western Australian sales team, based in the Southern suburbs of Kwinana and surrounding areas, with a monthly regional run to Kalgoorlie. The role covers a variety of customers and channels and involves delivering sales targets, building relationships with called-on customers and driving profitable growth through territory planning and execution. It also means growing sales through the distribution and product visibility of the brand portfolio, selling in all iconic brands such as spreads, milk and milk-based beverages.

Key responsibilities

• Nourish, build and maintain lasting customer relationships to maximise sales
• Achieve profit growth targets through best-in-class availability across the product range
• Develop and ensure compliance of promotional programs across customers
• Deliver excellence in in-store execution, including point-of-sale activation and planogram compliance
• Drive fridge utilisation, share of shelf and location management of fridges in store

Required profile

• Previous sales experience highly regarded; experience in the independent grocery channel viewed favourably but not essential
• Based in or around the preferred region
• Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with a range of stakeholders
• Teamwork, resilience and openness to trying new strategies to maximise sales
• Must hold a current valid driver's licence
