Tenancy Coordinator – Construction

About the role

The Tenancy Coordinator – Construction will lead the delivery of retail tenancy projects across Scentre Group’s Westfield portfolio. You will ensure that landlord works, retailer fit‑outs and base‑build activities are completed safely, on time and within budget, supporting successful store openings.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of retail tenancy projects, including base build, landlord works, Category 1 works and tenant fit‑outs.
• Manage a portfolio of projects, aligning programmes with leasing milestones and opening dates.
• Monitor programme performance, identify risks and implement corrective actions to protect retailer opening timelines.
• Coordinate landlord works, retailer fit‑outs, site access and operational readiness activities.
• Act as the primary interface with shop fitters, sub‑contractors, consultants and centre teams.
• Support procurement and contractor coordination in line with project budgets.
• Partner with Leasing, Design, Facilities and Operations to minimise disruption and ensure smooth openings.
• Maintain accurate project records, programme tracking and delivery status reporting.

Required profile

• Experience delivering retail tenancy or fit‑out projects in a construction environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict timelines.
• Strong coordination skills with internal teams and external contractors.
