Telehealth General Practitioner (Remote)

About the role

InstantScripts is seeking experienced General Practitioners to provide patient‑centred telehealth consultations across Australia. This independent contractor position lets you work from anywhere, set your own hours, and deliver high‑quality care using a secure, technology‑enabled platform.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct virtual consultations and prescribe safely following rigorous clinical standards.
• Utilise My Health Records and AI‑assisted documentation tools to capture accurate medical notes.
• Maintain compliance with AHPRA regulations and InstantScripts governance.
• Collaborate with a network of GPs for peer support and clinical advice.
• Uphold patient safety and data security through two‑factor authentication and ISMS 27001‑accredited systems.

Required profile

• Fellow/VR GP or GP Registrar with current AHPRA registration (no restrictions).
• Minimum PGY4 experience and at least 10 hours per week availability.
• Right to work in Australia (no sponsorship).
• Strong communication skills and comfort using digital health technology.
