Telehealth Doctor (Remote Contractor)

About the role

Join Australia’s largest telehealth provider as a remote, independent contractor delivering safe, evidence‑based consultations to patients nationwide. You will work flexible evening hours, supporting a diverse patient base from the comfort of your home.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct high‑quality telehealth consultations (10‑minute slots) across a broad range of clinical presentations.
• Perform clinical assessments, prescribe S4 & S8 medications, and arrange follow‑up care.
• Collaborate closely with nurses and doctor support teams to ensure seamless patient pathways.
• Maintain complete, compliant documentation in a digital‑first environment.
• Utilise digital health tools to optimise patient outcomes and service efficiency.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent with unrestricted AHPRA registration (minimum PGY4).
• Proven ability to manage 4‑6 consults per hour (10‑minute consults).
• Strong knowledge of privacy laws, RTPM, S8 regulations and medico‑legal obligations.
• Excellent clinical judgement with an evidence‑based, harm‑reduction mindset.
• Reliable, punctual and responsive, with a commitment to patient continuity.

Required skills

• Proficiency with multiple digital health platforms.
• Experience using electronic prescribing systems for S4 & S8 medications.
• Efficient navigation of electronic medical records and documentation tools.
