Telehealth Doctor – Remote, Australia

About the role

InstantScripts is seeking experienced Doctors and General Practitioners to provide high‑quality, patient‑centred telehealth consultations from the comfort of their own homes. This independent contractor position allows you to shape your own schedule while delivering safe, evidence‑based care to patients across Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct virtual consultations using InstantScripts’ secure telehealth platform.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of medical conditions in line with AHPRA standards.
• Document clinical notes and prescribe medications through integrated My Health Records.
• Utilise AI‑assisted tools to streamline note‑taking and clinical decision‑support.
• Maintain rigorous clinical governance and patient safety standards.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration with no restrictions.
• Minimum PGY4 experience in General Medicine or General Practice.
• Right to work in Australia (no sponsorship).
• Availability for at least 7‑10 rostered hours per week.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with My Health Records.
• Experience using AI‑enabled clinical tools.
• Comfort with secure telehealth platforms (2‑factor authentication, ISMS 27001 compliance).
