Registered Health Professional – Nurse/Paramedic

About the role

Greatland is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse or Paramedic to join the health team at Telfer‑Havieron Operations. This permanent FIFO position involves delivering emergency medical care, occupational health services, and health management programs for the workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the on‑site medical clinic and monitor employee wellbeing.
• Provide rapid emergency response, assessment, treatment and patient care across all operational areas.
• Coordinate medical evacuations with the Royal Flying Doctor Service and external providers.
• Participate in occupational health programs, including health surveillance, drug and alcohol testing, and fitness‑for‑work assessments.
• Oversee pre‑employment medical screening and provide fitness‑for‑work recommendations.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and complete incident, hazard, compliance and health reporting.
• Ensure medical consumables, pharmaceuticals and equipment are stocked, maintained and compliant.
• Deliver training, mentoring and medical support to Emergency Response Team members and other site personnel.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Paramedical Science with current unrestricted AHPRA registration.
• Minimum 5 years post‑graduate clinical experience, including on‑road ambulance services or emergency department work.
• Experience in mining, industrial, occupational or remote health settings.
• Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) and CPR certifications.
• Valid Manual C Class driver’s licence and ability to operate 4WD vehicles.
• Current National Police Clearance and relevant immunisation, spirometry and audiometric certifications.
