Telehealth Doctor – Contractor

About the role

This contract position is for an AHPRA‑registered medical practitioner to deliver high‑quality virtual consultations across Australia. Working remotely, you will join a digital health team that supports patients with a wide range of clinical presentations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct safe, effective telehealth consultations for diverse patient groups.
• Perform clinical assessments, provide medical advice, and prescribe appropriate S4 and S8 medications.
• Coordinate follow‑up care and ensure continuity of treatment.
• Collaborate with nursing and multidisciplinary support teams to streamline patient pathways.
• Maintain accurate, compliant documentation within the digital health platform.
• Utilise telehealth and digital healthcare tools to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• General AHPRA registration with no conditions or restrictions.
• PGY4 or higher with solid clinical experience across age groups.
• Confidence delivering care via telehealth platforms.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Willingness to support late‑afternoon and evening consultations, especially for Western Australia.
