Technology Procurement & Vendor Management Leader

About the role

Join Suncorp’s Procurement and Vendor Management team to support the Insurance Technology business across IT infrastructure, cloud, cyber security and SaaS services. You will manage complex technology suppliers, contracts and sourcing activities in a hyperscale environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage strategic technology vendors, contracts, service levels, performance measures and supplier improvement plans.
• Develop category plans, sourcing strategies and negotiation approaches for software, cloud and infrastructure services.
• Lead SaaS renewals and tenders while balancing commercial value, service requirements and risk.
• Facilitate supplier governance reviews and performance meetings with technical stakeholders and senior leaders.
• Interpret contract terms, resolve escalated disputes and address supplier performance or governance issues.

Required profile

• At least five years’ experience in technology procurement, vendor management or a related commercial role.
• Proven experience procuring SaaS solutions and managing large software contracts, renewals and tenders.
• Strong knowledge of software licensing, cloud services, hyperscale environments and IT infrastructure.
• Experience working with major technology providers such as Microsoft, IBM, Oracle or ServiceNow.
