Technology Assurance Associate Director

About the role

Lead Protiviti's IT Audit & Technology Assurance team, bridging strategic growth with technical delivery across a diverse client portfolio. You will manage engagements, ensure quality, and act as the primary client liaison.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of IT audit and technology assurance engagements, managing budgets, resources, and work progress.
• Review working papers, draft reports, and ensure compliance with Protiviti’s methodology and quality standards.
• Maintain client relationships, resolve conflicts, and identify new business opportunities.
• Develop proposals, statements of work, and contribute to practice development initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal service lines to deliver a seamless, integrated client experience.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in technology assurance, IT audit, or related fields, including 3–4 years in a management role.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Business Information Systems, Accounting, Audit or related discipline.
• Mandatory CISA certification; additional certifications (CISM, CIPP, CDPSE, CISSP, CRISC) are a plus.
• Industry expertise in sectors such as financial services, public sector, energy, or healthcare.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.

Required skills

• CISA certification
• Knowledge of COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001 frameworks
• Experience with cybersecurity, data governance, privacy, ITGC, third‑party risk
• Proficiency with Alteryx, SQL and generative AI tools
