Technical Support Specialist – Executive Support

About the role

The Technical Support Specialist (Executive Support) provides high‑quality ICT assistance to senior leaders and the Office of the Secretary. You will ensure technology runs smoothly for meetings, devices and digital services, helping the department deliver vital community outcomes across NSW.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver responsive, high‑quality support for Microsoft 365, Teams, voice solutions and meeting technologies.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues across laptops, desktops, mobile devices, monitors and peripherals.
• Support video‑conferencing and meeting‑room technology, proactively preventing disruptions.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders, maintaining professionalism, discretion and reliability.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering exceptional customer service in time‑critical environments.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and calmness under pressure during critical incidents.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, Windows 11, Office 365.
• Voice communication solutions (VoIP), Azure AD, SCCM, Microsoft Exchange admin, Intune admin.
• Video‑conferencing and meeting‑room technology support.
• Understanding of ITIL principles and service‑management best practice.
