Technical Specialist

About the role

The Technical Specialist will drive end‑to‑end solution delivery across Microsoft Modern Work, focusing on continuous improvement, emerging technologies and automation. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand challenges, prototype solutions and ensure they are safe, usable and measurable.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate discovery workshops, interviews and process walkthroughs to define problems, outcomes and success criteria.
• Translate business needs into user stories, lightweight requirements and solution options, highlighting trade‑offs.
• Co‑design with end users, validate concepts through rapid demos or prototypes, and support change management, communications and training.
• Act as a trusted advisor on emerging technologies, platform capabilities and governance.
• Identify improvement opportunities, prototype quickly and scale successful solutions.
• Own and continuously improve core Microsoft 365 capabilities such as Teams, SharePoint Online and OneDrive.
• Build secure‑by‑default solutions, guiding stakeholders on risk and privacy obligations.
• Help shape the roadmap by balancing demand, risk, capacity and time‑to‑value.
• Design lightweight solution artefacts for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Apply AI and automation patterns (Copilot, Power Platform) with strong governance, privacy and cost controls.
• Configure and deliver workflows, integrations and other technical components.

Required profile

• Motivated by continuous improvement, emerging technologies and automation.
• Curious and disciplined learner, able to adopt new tools such as Power Platform and Copilot Studio quickly.
• Strong stakeholder‑engagement skills: listening, advising and aligning on outcomes.
• Hands‑on experience prototyping, configuring, building, integrating, testing and supporting solutions.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of Microsoft Modern Work and Copilot roadmaps.
