Tech Recruiter – Early Career Focus

About the role

This position is with a global trading firm that relies heavily on technology, quantitative modelling and engineering. The Tech Recruiter will shape and deliver the technology recruitment strategy for graduate and intern hiring across Australia and New Zealand, working closely with technology leaders and the broader Talent Acquisition team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute technology recruitment strategies for graduate and intern programmes.
• Partner with technology leaders to understand current and future talent needs.
• Own end‑to‑end recruitment for technology graduate and intern roles.
• Build and maintain targeted talent pipelines across relevant technology disciplines.
• Develop relationships with universities, faculties, student groups and other talent communities.
• Identify and implement improvements to recruitment processes, assessment approaches and candidate engagement.
• Collaborate with Campus Events and Marketing teams to enhance employer presence.
• Contribute to broader Talent Acquisition projects and share best practices globally.

Required profile

• Experienced recruiter with a strong background in technology recruitment.
• Proven ability to work in fast‑paced environments and own recruitment projects.
• Comfortable operating with ambiguity and creating structured approaches.
• Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
• Experience in campus or graduate recruitment is highly regarded, though experienced‑hire technology recruitment experience is also acceptable.
