Team Leader – Water Infrastructure

About the role

Join AECOM's Water Infrastructure team in New South Wales as a Team Leader, guiding technical practice and mentoring junior engineers across water and wastewater projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the water infrastructure team.
• Manage project phases from bidding, concept design, detailed design, tendering to construction support.
• Ensure quality assurance processes are followed, delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships across water, wastewater, dam, and civil infrastructure sectors.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and CPEng registration.
• Approximately 15+ years of experience in water and/or wastewater projects.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Australian codes and standards.
• Strong client and stakeholder engagement skills.

Required skills

• Water and wastewater treatment design.
• Australian water industry codes and standards.
• Project lifecycle management (bidding to construction support).
