Team Leader - Lifestyles St Ives

About the role

Cerebral Palsy Alliance is looking for an energetic, engaging and motivated leader to join its Lifestyles team in St Ives, NSW. The role provides day-to-day leadership, builds strong stakeholder relationships and ensures high-quality, person-centred outcomes for the people supported. It is a full-time position requiring availability five days a week (Monday to Friday), and the employer is running interviews as applications come through.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching and support to Disability Support Practitioners.
• Support onboarding, mentoring and capability development of new and existing team members.
• Foster positive relationships with clients, families, advocates and other stakeholders.
• Work with House Managers and operational leaders to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
• Coordinate and support client activities, programs and community engagement.
• Assist with workforce planning, rostering support and service continuity.
• Maintain service quality, documentation and compliance, and support incident management and risk mitigation.
• Take part in continuous improvement and champion person-centred practices.
• Act as a key point of contact and provide leadership support when needed.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in the disability, community or human services sector.
• Natural leader able to motivate, mentor and support others.
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
• Passion for high-quality, person-centred supports and a desire to grow in a leadership role.
