Team Leader - Home Care

About the role

MacDonnell Regional Council is recruiting a Team Leader - Home Care in Papunya, Northern Territory. You will act as the nominated supervisor for a small team of local staff and help aged and disability clients receive the services set out in their client care plans. The role is full-time and fixed-term until 30 June 2027, with the possibility of extension.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the go-to person for a small team of local staff.
• Ensure services identified in client care plans are delivered to aged and disability clients.
• Develop and implement a daily work plan for the local home care team.

Required profile

• Certificate III level qualification in Aged Care, Individual Support (Aging) or a willingness to work actively towards completing the relevant qualification.
• At least 6 months' experience in a supervisory position in human services or hospitality.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a culturally and linguistically diverse environment.
• Adaptable, collaborative and passionate about making a difference.
• Valid Australian working rights (citizenship, permanent residency or a valid work visa).

• Salary starting at $75,428 per annum.
