Team Leader - Employment Services (Remote Community)

About the role

Randstad, partnering with ALPA, one of Australia's largest Aboriginal-owned corporations, is recruiting a hands-on Team Leader for Employment Services in a remote Arnhem Land community. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will lead a team of Employment Consultants and local remote staff, combining leadership, coaching and operational performance so that JSCIs, Job Plans and case notes meet high quality standards and the team meets and exceeds contractual NIAA milestones.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor Employment Consultants and remote staff to build a high-performing, supportive team
• Oversee case management quality, keeping caseload commencement above 96% and engaging pending participants within two weeks
• Ensure Job Seeker Classification Instruments (JSCIs), Job Plans and case notes are accurate, timely and person-centred
• Work with site staff, participants and employers to remove participation barriers and secure sustainable job placements
• Embed respect for local Yolŋu cultural practices and family structures in daily decisions while leading workplace safety

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Employment Consultant, Case Manager or Team Leader in RAES, CDP or ECSN frameworks
• Natural ability to mentor staff, manage rosters and drive continuous improvement
• Deep respect for First Nations culture and experience in remote Indigenous community settings
• Current driver's licence ready to travel by light aircraft or unsealed roads
