Primary School Teacher (Full‑time / Part‑time)

About the role

South Lake Primary School is building a pool of Primary Teachers for permanent and fixed‑term positions that may start during the 2027 school year. The role can be full‑time or part‑time and focuses on delivering evidence‑based, explicit instruction to improve student achievement.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality, curriculum‑aligned lessons across all primary subjects.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment using Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and Classroom Management Strategies (CMS).
• Implement specialised programs such as Oxford Maths, Mathletics, Talk 4 Writing, Science of Reading, Jolly Phonics & Grammar, GradeXpert, and the Aboriginal Cultural Standards Framework.
• Collaborate with year‑level teams to develop consistent learning programs and assess student progress.
• Analyse student data to inform differentiated teaching and continuously refine instructional approaches.

• Ability to set high expectations while fostering a supportive, safe learning environment.
• Effective classroom management skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to innovate.
