Tax Preparer - Multiple Positions Available

Accountable Recruitment Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a Tax Services firm in Newcastle, offering multiple positions for Tax Preparers. The role suits people who enjoy the tax and accounting industry and want to deliver excellent tax services to clients. Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS)
• Respond to client inquiries and give clear, concise answers to tax questions
• Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and regulations
• Handle administrative tasks and follow up with clients to ensure their satisfaction

Required profile

• Completed Tax Preparation course, B.Com or TAFE qualification
• Proven experience as a Tax Preparer
• Experience in a tax services or accounting firm is required
• Attention to detail and accuracy in tax preparation
• Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations and compliance
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently with flexible hours and handle administrative tasks

Required skills

• Xero Tax or Hand Tax
• Xero invoicing
• Excel, Word and Outlook

What we offer

• Salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year
• Standard office hours or afternoon shift
• Clients' office open Monday to Saturday, so you can choose your days
