Tax Manager – SMSF & High Net Worth Clients

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead a select portfolio of High Net Worth (HNW) individuals, family groups, and Self-Managed Super Fund (SMSF) clients. Working closely with a Director, you will provide strategic tax advice, ensure compliance, and build trusted relationships with sophisticated clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of HNW, family and SMSF clients, delivering high‑quality tax compliance and advisory services.
• Prepare and review year‑end financial statements and tax returns in partnership with a Director.
• Develop and maintain strong, trusted relationships, becoming the go‑to advisor for clients.
• Coach and guide junior team members, reviewing their work and supporting their development.
• Identify opportunities to add value, improve outcomes and contribute to broader advisory discussions.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualification.
• Public practice experience with strong technical knowledge of personal tax, trusts, investment entities and Div7A.
• Demonstrated interest or experience in SMSF taxation.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work.
• Confident communicator who can explain complex tax matters in plain language.
