Tax Manager

About the role

Acclime Australia is seeking a compliance‑driven Tax Manager to lead its high‑performing tax team. The role oversees the delivery of tax compliance services, ensuring client obligations are met accurately, efficiently and in line with Australian legislation and professional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage the tax compliance team.
• Review and lodge client tax compliance items such as FBT returns, income tax returns, ESS reporting and other ATO submissions.
• Provide general tax advice, including cross‑border taxation issues, via verbal, email or formal letters.
• Identify matters requiring specialist input from Tax Advisory, Transfer Pricing or R&D Advisory.
• Support Acclime Australia Group management with annual tax and FBT returns.
• Manage the tax compliance practice P&L and assist in annual budgeting.
• Liaise with the Australian Taxation Office and ensure adherence to Acclime’s low‑risk model.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, commerce or law.
• CA or CPA qualification (preferred) and/or CTA or Masters of Tax.
• Registered Tax Agent (preferred).
• 6–8 years of Australian public‑practice tax compliance experience.
