Relationship Manager – Diversified Industries (Sydney)

About the role

The Relationship Manager for Diversified Industries will manage a portfolio of corporate customers in New South Wales, driving growth through acquisition, cross‑selling and referrals. Based at ANZ’s Sydney office, you will work closely with product partners and specialist teams to deliver tailored banking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Act in the best interest of customers, applying a customer‑centric approach.
• Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of each client’s business and financial needs.
• Provide appropriate solutions and collaborate with internal stakeholders to design, structure and execute deals.
• Build and maintain external networks, focusing on origination and circle of influence.
• Structure deals with product and specialist teams while managing credit risk.
• Drive new‑to‑bank business and grow whole‑of‑customer relationships.
• Exercise relationship credit approval discretion where appropriate.
• Coach and develop an Assistant Manager direct report.

Required profile

• Proven ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• Domain expertise to support complex corporate customers.
• Experience assessing and managing credit risk in line with policy.
• Track record of business development and strategic growth.
