Tax Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join a growing accounting practice. The role involves overseeing tax compliance and reporting for a diverse portfolio of corporate clients across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns and financial statements for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships.
• Manage and review Business Activity Statements (BAS), Capital Gains Tax (CGT) and Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) obligations.
• Conduct tax planning and provide strategic advice to clients.
• Prepare cash‑flow forecasts, research tax matters and assist with annual client budgets.
• Liaise with staff, clients, the ATO and other relevant bodies.
• Supervise, review performance and train junior staff.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years recent Australian tax and business services experience.
• CA or CPA qualified.
• Proven experience dealing directly with large clients with multiple entities and turnover exceeding $50 million.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
