Tax Accountant – Public Practice (Euroa)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Tax Accountant to join our growing Euroa branch. This permanent, onsite position offers the chance to work with a diverse client base and contribute to the success of a well‑established accounting practice.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and lodge tax compliance work for companies, including BAS, financial statements, and income tax returns.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of individual and business clients.
• Support the growth and operational excellence of the Euroa office.
• Collaborate with colleagues across locations to uphold high service standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting with CPA or CA qualification (or active enrolment).
• 3‑5+ years of Australian public practice experience handling corporate tax and financials.
• Demonstrated leadership potential and ambition for future office‑manager or ownership roles.
• Strong ethical standards and a client‑focused mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Xero accounting software.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• In‑depth understanding of Australian taxation legislation.
