Talent Sourcer – Sydney

About the role

Join Gartner's HR team in North Sydney as a Talent Sourcer, focusing on identifying and engaging high‑achieving sales talent for current and future opportunities across Australia, New Zealand and South‑East Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Source passive and active candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, internal CRM, referrals, job boards, social media and AI tools.
• Generate candidate interest with creative marketing and clear articulation of Gartner’s value proposition.
• Pre‑qualify candidates via phone interviews, trait assessments and behavioral interviewing.
• Build and maintain pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand business needs and align sourcing strategy.
• Conduct market mapping, gather market intelligence and expand networks through user groups, blogs and events.

Required profile

• 1+ year of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, sourcing or research (sales hiring experience preferred but not essential).
• Strong research and candidate generation abilities.
• Proactive, curious and collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a data‑driven, metrics‑focused environment.
