Talent Acquisition Specialist (6‑Month Contract)

About the role

Stryker is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist on a six‑month contract to support high‑volume hiring and sourcing initiatives. This hybrid role offers hands‑on experience in recruitment within a global organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Screen and assess candidates for high‑volume positions, ensuring top talent is selected.
• Proactively source hard‑to‑fill roles using diverse channels and creative strategies.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition Business Partners and hiring managers to deliver a seamless recruitment experience.
• Manage candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle, keeping them engaged and informed.
• Maintain accurate data and reporting in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Monitor market trends and sourcing best practices to continuously improve talent attraction.

Required profile

• A people‑person who is naturally curious about candidate motivations and can engage them effectively.
• A proactive sourcer who does not wait for applications but actively finds talent.
• An adaptable multitasker capable of juggling multiple priorities in a fast‑moving environment.
• A recruitment enthusiast; experience in talent acquisition (agency or in‑house) is a plus but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
• Proficiency in using LinkedIn for sourcing.
• Knowledge of SEEK or similar job platforms.
