Talent Acquisition Partner - Sales and Operations

About the role

A newly created Talent Partner role, with a focus on Sales and Operations, is open to a scaling Australian financial services organisation. You will own the hiring engine for the business, build talent pipelines, improve the candidate experience and help leaders make better hiring decisions. The role reports to the Head of People and sits at the centre of the organisation's growth strategy, partnering with leaders across Sales and Operations. It is based in the CBD with 4 days onsite and 1 day working from home.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end recruitment for Sales and Operations, from role briefing through to offer
• Build proactive talent pipelines and develop sourcing strategies through direct sourcing, referrals, networks and early careers channels
• Support graduate and early-career hiring, including campus attraction
• Partner with hiring managers, coach them through interviews and assessments, and provide market insight
• Manage agency partnerships, recruitment briefs and preferred supplier performance
• Track pipeline health, time-to-fill and sourcing effectiveness, and share recruitment metrics with senior leadership
• Ensure every candidate interaction reflects the organisation positively

Required profile

• Background in Talent Acquisition, agency recruitment or a mix of both
• Ability to understand Sales and Operations talent and build strong stakeholder relationships
• Comfortable in fast-paced, evolving environments and able to find solutions when there is no perfect playbook
• Ability to build trust quickly and influence outcomes

The opportunity is managed confidentially by the recruiter; the process includes an initial conversation, three meetings with business stakeholders and some testing, all face-to-face in the office.
