Senior Finance Recruiter - Executive Search (CFO & Finance Director)

About the role

An established executive search firm with nearly 20 years in business is recruiting a Senior Finance Recruiter for its Sydney business. The role works on retained and exclusive CFO, Finance Director and other senior finance appointments, partnering with senior decision-makers and building a network with CFOs, CEOs, Boards and senior investment professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of retained and exclusive assignments, working closely with clients to understand their businesses and identify exceptional talent.
• Manage the search process from initial briefing through to appointment.
• Develop relationships with CFOs, CEOs, Boards and senior investment professionals.
• Work alongside experienced search professionals in a collaborative, consultative environment.

Required profile

• Experienced executive search professional or senior finance recruiter with a strong track record of delivering senior-level finance appointments.
• Ideally has recruited senior finance professionals such as Finance Managers, Financial Controllers, Finance Directors or CFOs.
• Strong understanding of the finance recruitment market and the ability to engage credibly with senior candidates and clients.
• Genuine interest in executive search and retained assignments; experience in investment banking, funds management or private equity is advantageous but not essential.
• Professionalism, integrity, ambition, a commercial mindset and comfort working autonomously.
