Talent Acquisition Manager ANZ

About the role

Covetrus, a global animal-health technology and services leader, is looking for an experienced, commercially minded Talent Acquisition Manager to lead recruitment across its ANZ region. As the sole Talent Acquisition specialist in ANZ, you will report to the Sr. Director, People, Safety & Payroll and be a key member of the APAC People team, working alongside global Talent Acquisition specialists. This is a hands-on role combining strategic thinking with end-to-end recruitment delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Own the ANZ Talent Acquisition strategy, partnering with stakeholders to deliver operational recruitment, talent insights and strategic hiring across wholesale distribution, technology solutions and training & consulting.
• Lead commercially focused recruitment operations, manage budgets, external partnerships and recruitment investment to maximise return on spend.
• Use AI and automation to improve recruitment efficiency, candidate experience and hiring outcomes.
• Build proactive talent pipelines and attraction strategies to reduce reliance on external recruitment.
• Deliver data-driven talent insights and executive reporting for workforce planning and succession.
• Coach hiring managers and embed best-practice recruitment and selection methods.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar Talent Acquisition leadership role, alone or leading a small team.
• Proven success recruiting mid to senior-level talent across functions.
• Strong ability to manage and partner with senior leaders and executives.
• Commercial acumen, including reducing agency spend and improving direct sourcing results.

Required skills

• Experience using AI and automation to improve recruitment.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to turn recruitment data into workforce insights.
