Talent Acquisition & HR Specialist (HR Business Partner Path)

About the role

Sydney Tools is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition professional who wants to expand into a full HR business partner role. You will manage recruitment for an assigned portfolio while developing capabilities across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to performance management and succession planning.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end recruitment for your business portfolio.
• Partner with leaders on workforce planning and hiring strategies.
• Coach managers on performance and employee‑relations matters.
• Support learning, development and succession planning initiatives.
• Drive employee engagement and recognition programmes.
• Assist with HR projects and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Build trusted relationships with leaders across the business.

Required profile

• Proven experience in talent acquisition, internal recruitment or related HR functions.
• Commercially minded, highly organised and relationship‑focused.
• A desire to grow into a well‑rounded HR professional.
• Previous internal recruitment, agency recruitment or HR experience is highly regarded.
