System Administrator / System Engineer – Nutanix

About the role

We are seeking a skilled System Administrator / System Engineer with deep expertise in Nutanix and Windows infrastructure to join our Sydney team. The role involves designing, deploying and maintaining high‑availability environments while providing advanced support to enterprise users.

Key responsibilities

• Design, install and configure Nutanix clusters and manage Prism Central.
• Integrate Nutanix with Active Directory for authentication and resource allocation.
• Administer Windows Server (2016+) environments, including AD, DNS, GPO and Remote Desktop Services.
• Implement and manage security solutions such as Microsoft Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Monitor systems, perform log analysis and conduct root‑cause investigations.
• Configure NGINX load balancer/reverse proxy for application traffic.
• Provide L2/L3 escalation support and produce technical documentation.
• Support Windows 10 LTSC and Windows 11 Pro endpoints.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working in large‑scale environments.
