Swim Teacher – Redcliffe (Casual)

About the role

Join Belgravia Leisure as a Swim Teacher at the newly refurbished Redcliffe War Memorial Swimming Pool. You will deliver swimming and water‑safety lessons to children of all ages in a year‑round indoor facility, working flexible mornings, evenings and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct effective swimming and water‑safety classes for infants, preschoolers and other age groups.
• Maintain a safe pool environment and adhere to OHS and public‑safety standards.
• Support the rebuilding and growth of the swim program as the pool re‑opens.
• Collaborate with fellow staff while also working independently to meet class needs.

Required profile

• Current Swim Teacher Certificate.
• Current First Aid (Level 2) and CPR certificates.
• Blue Card (Working with Children Check & National Police Check).
• Energetic, innovative teaching style with strong verbal communication.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Previous experience is valued but not mandatory; qualifications can be funded by the employer.

Required skills

• Ability to teach swimming techniques and water‑safety principles.
• Understanding of OHS and pool safety procedures.
