Sustainability Advisor for Rail Infrastructure

About the role

Join ACCIONA as a Sustainability Advisor on the Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail Project, driving sustainability integration across design and construction phases.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sustainability strategies aligned to project objectives.
• Embed sustainability in design and construction with project teams.
• Monitor and report sustainability performance, compliance and financial value.
• Identify and implement carbon, waste and resource efficiency opportunities.
• Conduct sustainability audits and align the project with ISC and Green Star standards.
• Engage community groups, the client and stakeholders on sustainability outcomes.

Required profile

• Degree in sustainability, architecture, engineering or science.
• Construction industry experience in a sustainability‑focused role.
• Knowledge of sustainability legislation and the ISC Rating Scheme.

Required skills

• Carbon reduction analysis.
• Data analysis and technical reporting.
• Sustainability auditing.
• Lead auditor training (preferred).
