Construction Site Manager

About the role

Everlyn Projects is seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations on commercial and residential projects across South East Queensland. You will coordinate trades, maintain high standards of safety and quality, and work closely with the Project Management team to deliver projects on time and to specification.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily site activities, coordinate subcontractors, trades, labourers and suppliers.
• Monitor progress against programme, identify delays early and adjust trade scheduling.
• Conduct regular site inspections, ensure compliance with Australian Standards and WHS requirements.
• Maintain clean, secure and professionally presented sites, including after‑hours works when required.
• Communicate progress, issues and variations to clients and management, and prepare daily reports and progress photographs.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar construction leadership role.
• Experience delivering commercial construction, refurbishments, fit‑outs and residential projects.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Current driver’s licence and ability to travel across South East Queensland.

Required skills

• Construction sequencing and trade coordination.
• Site operations and WHS compliance.
• Reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications and scopes of work.
• Use of digital construction management systems (e.g., Nexvia).
