Surveyor – Major Infrastructure Project

About the role

Acciona is seeking experienced Surveyors to join its Alliance team on the Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail (LGC) Project in Brisbane. The role involves delivering precise construction set‑outs for a range of civil works and supporting the overall delivery of this major rail infrastructure upgrade.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver construction set‑out for roads, drainage, utilities, concrete and SMP (Structural, Mechanical & Piping) works.
• Coordinate closely with site‑based construction teams and subcontractors.
• Interpret project specifications and plans, creating digital models for set‑out.
• Follow established survey procedures to meet Alliance objectives.
• Calibrate and maintain survey equipment to required standards.
• Support project monitoring, progress reporting and as‑built documentation.
• Complete survey computations and collaborate with the survey data management team.
• Participate in Alliance safety initiatives and promote a strong safety culture.
• Collaborate with GIS and Digital Engineering teams.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in surveying with considerable experience on large civil infrastructure projects.
• Ability to work in a high‑performing, professional team on a challenging project.

Required skills

• Proficiency in 12D (Model, Field and Synergy) – desirable.
• Machine control experience – desirable.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
