Surveyor – Civil & Infrastructure Projects

About the role

Woolpert is seeking a Surveyor to join its expanding Brisbane team. You will work on a variety of civil, construction, land‑development and infrastructure projects, balancing field data collection with office‑based analysis. The role offers a collaborative environment that values safety, quality and professional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct field surveys using Leica instruments and capture accurate topographic and as‑built data.
• Develop and maintain 12d Model/12d Field designs and integrate survey data into project deliverables.
• Prepare and manage QA records, timesheets and project documentation.
• Support tender preparation, quotations and client discussions with technical input.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers and construction teams to ensure survey outcomes meet project specifications.

Required profile

• 2–3+ years of professional surveying experience.
• Detail‑oriented with a strong focus on safety and environmental sustainability.
• Effective communicator who delivers quality results to clients and internal teams.
• Organised and capable of handling administrative tasks alongside field work.

Required skills

• Proficiency with 12d Model or 12d Field.
• Experience using AutoCAD.
• Hands‑on experience with Leica surveying instruments.
