Supply Planner

About the role

AkzoNobel is seeking a proactive and analytical Supply Planner to join its Supply Chain team. You will ensure timely material availability to support demand plans while balancing service levels, cost, and working capital.

Key responsibilities

• Manage FINI material requirements for locally produced and imported products, reviewing MRP outputs and maintaining inventory targets.
• Monitor open purchase orders, supplier deliveries, and MRP exception messages, coordinating with production scheduling.
• Coordinate imported shipments with suppliers and logistics providers, handling sea, air, and LCL freight.
• Develop and maintain distribution and replenishment plans at SKU level, balancing OTIF service, inventory, and cost.
• Maintain safety stock levels, inventory policies, and resolve stock imbalances within the ERP system.
• Run weekly Sales & S&OE meetings with Manufacturing, Demand Planning, and Commercial teams to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proactive and analytical mindset.
• Experience managing material requirements, MRP outputs, and inventory targets.
• Ability to collaborate with Manufacturing, Demand Planning, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, and external suppliers.
