Supply Officer – Procurement & Codification

About the role

The Supply Officer (ERP Purchasing, Codification Support) joins KBR's Supply Team in Sydney, reporting to the Supply Manager. You will manage day‑to‑day purchasing, codification and cataloguing while supporting lifecycle cost reduction and supportability.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee procurement and sparing activities to meet lifecycle and support targets.
• Monitor engineering changes, flagging risks or issues promptly.
• Manage inventory logistics, stock holdings and supply‑demand coordination.
• Source alternatives for material shortages and maintain supplier relationships.
• Maintain accurate master data in ERP, including stock codes and supplier details.
• Support lifecycle cost analysis, identify cost‑saving opportunities and provide ILS expertise.
• Handle obsolescence, risk, configuration data and disposal processes in compliance with systems.

Required profile

• Certificate IV in Materiel Logistics or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years’ experience in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) or logistics engineering within Defence or a related technical industry.
• Strong knowledge of Defence logistics management systems and ERP platforms.
• Understanding of Defence procurement processes; exposure to SCPM and AMPs is advantageous.
• Eligibility for ITAR clearance and an active Baseline Defence Security Clearance.
