Major Account Manager

About the role

As a Major Account Manager at Ofload, you will own a portfolio of our largest and most complex customers, driving both relational and commercial outcomes. You will embed Ofload into customers' planning processes and be accountable for the financial health of each account.

Key responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of strategic and enterprise customers, ensuring retention, growth and profitability.
• Build relationships across all levels—from warehouse staff to C‑suite executives—in operations, procurement, finance and supply chain.
• Set commercial and operational strategies, own end‑to‑end outcomes and drive optimisation across supply chains.
• Use lane‑level insights to unlock pricing, efficiency and profitability opportunities.
• Lead high‑impact business reviews, uncover growth opportunities and align on next steps.
• Solve root‑cause problems, turning issues into lasting solutions with data‑backed insights.
• Coach junior team members and contribute to broader strategic planning.

Required profile

• 5+ years senior account management experience, preferably in transport, logistics or supply chain.
• Proven commercial ownership with margin targets and pricing negotiations.
• Experience influencing RFPs and managing tenders/contracts.
• Strong analytical ability to explain margin issues to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Track record of growing share‑of‑wallet and reducing churn.
• High emotional intelligence, adaptability and a sense of ownership.
