Studio Coordinator

About the role

The Studio Coordinator is the heartbeat of Princess Bento’s studio, ensuring day‑to‑day operations run smoothly and the environment feels welcoming. You will manage office administration, facilities, suppliers, events and communications while supporting the team and productions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain reception, meeting rooms, kitchens and communal areas tidy and organized; manage supplies, mail, phones and studio access.
• Welcome new starters and visitors, arrange meeting rooms and catering, coordinate events and support interstate crew with equipment and travel.
• Oversee suppliers, maintenance, utilities, contractors and studio purchases, keeping safety and workplace essentials in check.
• Provide practical administration to senior management and coordinate casual Studio Administrators as needed.
• Create the monthly studio newsletter, support Slack and intranet communications, and keep the crew informed about studio happenings.
• Update socials, assist with award submissions, festival entries and other marketing activities.
• Identify process improvements, propose ideas and implement changes to make the studio a better place to work.

• Organised, approachable and practical with a natural eye for what needs to be done.
• Proactive, resourceful and able to juggle competing priorities independently.
• Warm, personable and genuinely interested in making people feel welcome.
• Confident communicator comfortable interacting with everyone from new starters to senior leaders and external partners.
• Good judgement for solving problems directly while knowing when to seek help or escalate.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Suite tools.
• Experience using Canva or Photoshop (bonus).
