Student Marketeer - Gold Coast

About the role

Red Bull is looking for a Student Marketeer in the Gold Coast. As a brand and product ambassador, the role represents the brand on and off campus, approaches consumers to encourage positive product trial and awareness, supports sales teams with sales drives, merchandising and other sales support, and works at Red Bull events. It is a part-time position of up to 18 hours per week across weekends and weekdays.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a brand and product ambassador: live the brand personality and values and invite students to try and become aware of Red Bull through sampling.
• Build relationships with local sales account managers so Red Bull is available and visible on and around campus, and help open new distribution points.
• Work at Red Bull events to make sure consumers have an unforgettable experience with the brand.
• Listen to how consumers perceive the brand and share insights with the wider business.
• Plan activities, report in a timely manner and share local insights, trends and opportunities with the team, face-to-face and online.

Required profile

• Naturally organised, with a high attention to detail, able to work alone and in a team.
• Valid and full driver's licence.
• Studying a Bachelor's degree at Griffith University, Bond University or Southern Cross University Gold Coast.
• Qualified to work in Australia.
• Good understanding of the Gold Coast region, including events, hot spots and influential scenes.

Required skills

• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Interest in social media and content creation.
